Everglades National Park
The palms in this photo are Everglade Palms. The Everglades Palm is a multi-trunk fan palm. Fan palms are identified by the fan shaped fronds (leaves.) Everglades palms grow in large, dense clumps consisting of many trunks. Like this clump they often grow at the edge of a hammock where the dry ground meets the slough or prairie.
